Though I'm not originally from Florida, I have come to appreciate the natural environment here. A handful of my favorite places to go include Sanibel and Captiva Islands, and Bahia Honda State Park located in the keys. Notably, Bahia Honda is the only state park with the Atlantic ocean on one side and the gulf of Mexico on the other. The shells, coral, and stone used for this set were collected by me from these two locations. 

Additionally, I paired one of Genea's beautiful lampwork glass headpins with some sea glass beads, aquamarine, red jasper, and additional glass accents all on fine silver filled oxidized coils.

This hair jewelry is intended to be worn on locs, dreadlocks, braids, or beards.

Fine silver filled wire is fine silver wrapped around a copper core. Because it is real silver, it can tarnish over time. Like all other silver jewelry, it can be gently polished and cleaned to rejuvenate the finish as desired.

Generally speaking, I recommend day wear only for all my designs. Proper care of your jewelry will ensure it lasts for many years.
