Though I'm not originally from Florida, I have come to appreciate the natural environment here. Some of my favorite places to go include Sanibel and Captiva Islands. The shell used for this design is one that I collected from Turner Beach on Captiva Island and was made by the Florida Worm Snail(Vermicularia knorrii).The unique twisted design of this shell speaks for itself, so I paired it simply with Hubei Turquoise facet beads on an oxidized fine silver filled coil.

This hair jewelry is intended to be worn on locs, dreadlocks, braids, or beards.

• Hole Diameter: 7mm

If you would like different hole diameters, I would be happy to accommodate. Simply contact me, or let me know your size preference/s at checkout in the "Special Instructions for Seller" box. I don't recommend any size smaller than 7mm.

Fine silver filled wire is fine silver wrapped around a copper core. Because it is real silver, it can tarnish over time. Like all other silver jewelry, it can be gently polished and cleaned to rejuvenate the finish as desired.

Generally speaking, I recommend day wear only for all my designs. Proper care of your jewelry will ensure it lasts for many years.
