This listing is for a made to order dread/loc/braid coil. This coil is made from very strong recycled copper electric wire that has been treated in a lengthy process to achieve a very beautiful green patina. It is also sealed with a clearcoat to protect the patina during wear and prevent any snagging. This coil is filed at both ends for a snag free fit and the length will average around 45-50mm. Each bead will feature different variations of green/blue patina, and will be a perfect embodiment of the Japanese Wabi-sabi concept.
This bead comes with a care instruction card. Please keep in mind that because this bead features real patina finish and not a painted finish, it can be affected by water or friction. This bead is day wear only. If worn in the shower, or during sleep, the protective finish could become compromised.
