I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I made this bead. I've always liked the idea of mixing and matching different elements, textures, and colors in a free-style way. I think my love for this first started when I watched The Water World movie the first time(I know, I know... you can laugh). But, seriously, in that film, though the costumes were minimal and made to represent a time where resources were limited, the main character always wore a haphazard collection of unique and interesting jewelry that had been fashioned out of everything from shells to computer chips.

When I saw this unique lampwork bead from Genea, I knew it needed to be paired with something interesting. So, I chose to carve some sea glass. The bead also features some ancient roman glass beads and pink faceted beads for an added touch of "huh... that's neat", all on an oxidized fine silver filled coil. Embrace the unique.

Fine silver filled wire is fine silver wrapped around a copper core. Because it is real silver, it can tarnish over time. Like all other silver jewelry, it can be gently polished and cleaned to rejuvenate the finish as desired.

Generally speaking, I recommend day wear only for all my designs. Proper care of your jewelry will ensure it lasts for many years.
