Titanium quartz comes in lots of different colors... From aqua aura, to angel, to rainbow, and beyond. The process by which these types of stones are created is a man made process. Stones with these types of finishes do not occur naturally. There are various different methods that are used to achieve these types of coatings. The two most popular methods are applying vapor or a thin sheet of foil in a highly pressurized and heated chamber. The color of the stones depend on what types of vapors or foils are being used. Rainbow titanium quartz, for example, is created by bonding quartz stones with titanium oxide. Whereas other types of quartz can be bonded with indium, niobium, gold, copper, etc, to achieve different colors and finishes.

Generally speaking, I recommend day wear only for all my designs. Proper care of your jewelry will ensure it lasts for many years.
