This listing is for made to order dread/loc/braid cuff beads like those shown in the photos. You will get 10 cuffs. Each cuff is made from very strong copper that has been treated in a lengthy process to achieve a very beautiful green patina. They are also sealed with a clearcoat to protect the patina during wear and prevent any snagging. These cuffs average 2cm in length and are filed at both ends for a snag free fit. Each set of these will feature different variations of green/blue patina, a heatherfish maker's mark, and will be a perfect embodiment of the Japanese Wabi-sabi concept.
These beads come with a care instruction card. Please keep in mind that because these beads feature real patina finish and not a painted finish, they can be affected by water or friction. These beads are day wear only. If worn in the shower, or during sleep, the protective finish could become compromised over time.
These are among the most expensive metal bead designs in my store. Of everything I make, the process by which I achieve these is the most difficult and tedious. The result is a truly unique, cold forged set of handmade beads.
