2 Hammered Dreadlock Beads

This listing is for 2 hammered dread beads made in your choice of hole diameter and material. They are hand shaped, smooth filed, and extremely strong. These are not made to bend.

This listing is especially important to me. As one of the first things I ever listed online, it is still a popular favorite. For nostalgic purposes, I have kept the original photos. Before I was well established in my trade, I owned one hammer, a flat pry bar, and one needle file. These were what I used to create these hammered beads. Because I didn't have a stamping block, I used the pry bar in my lap to hammer against. With a little determination, anything is possible.

Coil Lengths are 2.5cm ~ 3cm.

The sample coils in the photos have a hole diameter of 7mm.

Raw unsealed metal in your choice of aluminum, brass, or copper.

The sample coils shown in the photos are aluminum.

All metal options will arrive with a bright, high shine polish. The brass and copper options will develop a patina and age naturally as intended. The amount of tarnish and color change will depend on environmental exposure. The aluminum option will experience little to no changes and will be very slow to tarnish.

Generally speaking, I recommend day wear only for all my designs. Proper care of your jewelry will ensure it lasts for many years.
