This listing is for 2 made to order hammered dread beads made in your choice of hole diameter and material. They are hand shaped, and smooth filed.
These will arrive polished, but are purposely designed with raw metals to achieve an earthy, natural look. These are meant to develop a natural tarnish and patina. Though, please note that aluminum is very slow to tarnish.
The philosophy of Wabi-Sabi is very much embraced by the Heatherfish brand. Wabi-Sabi, in it's pure definition, is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection.
However, a pro-polish pad is included with the copper and brass options should you wish to maintain the polished finish.

This listing is especially important to me. As one of the first things I ever listed online, it is still a popular favorite. For nostalgic purposes, I have kept the original photos. Before I was well established in my trade, I owned one hammer, a flat pry bar, and one needle file. These were what I used to create these hammered beads. Because I didn't have a stamping block, I used the pry bar in my lap to hammer against. With a little determination, anything is possible.
