I've been sitting on these for quite some time. There is nothing better than time when it comes to developing a truly stunning patina. I actually had to check my Instagram archives to see exactly how long I've been allowing time to develop these. The answer is 8 months.
This pair of statement earrings actually hold a special place in my heart. Each of the elements I used were carefully selected for various different reasons. Many of the stones used were collected personally be me in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. Some locations of collection include: Hawcreek Falls, Little Piney Creek on Ross Mountain Road, Mt Nebo, and Ft. Douglass.
Additional Elements include, Arkansas quartz from twin creek crystal mine, green kyanite from Tanzania, hand-knapped jasper arrowheads, green ghost quartz from Asia, lodalite quartz from Asia, blue labradorite briolettes, 1000 year old ancient Roman glass beads, amethyst, Arizona turquoise, green onyx, citrine, peridot, and rare orange spessartite mandarin garnet facet cut drops.
The amount of time and effort put into this single pair of earrings is vast, and it is the perfect representation of what heatherfish is all about... Time. Age. Beautiful Imperfection.
