I’m finally caught up, and YouTube woes.

I hope all five of you that regularly read my posts and the handful of spammers that proposition me daily have had a wonderful week! I am happy to say that I have finally…. FINALLY… caught up on all my back orders. What does this mean, you ask? This means that tomorrow, I will be able to complete the production on my latest video tutorial: Carving a bone hook | Movie Prop Replica (From Moana)

This has been on the back burner for some time, as YouTube is more like a side project than a real source of revenue. Perhaps in the future I will pursue it more seriously, but as for right now, my business and store must be my priority. A girl has to pay rent after all. 😉 In addition, I really just enjoy giving back to YouTube community when I can. I have learned a lot of skills from all the various videos I have watched over the years.

That being said, YouTube seems to be going through a bit of a crisis as of late regarding it’s advertisers. Many of the awesome channels I follow are now only making a fraction of revenue monthly compared to what they were regularly making. In fact, they have been impacted so severely, many of them are turning to Patreon. Indeed, if you have a favorite youtuber that works hard to put out good content for you to enjoy, consider becoming a Patreon for them. Honestly, if we don’t support independent creators and artists, our world has the potential to become a very censored, illogical, and square place. I began supporting two of my favorite youtubers and I believe that every dollar counts.

So… I leave you with that challenge and promise for a new tutorial video soon.
