I hope all you folks are doing wonderful on this fine fabulous day! I just want to make a quick post to share the tutorial video I just created. It will show you step-by-step how you can make your own antler plugs or tunnels.
SO… Do you guys remember that post I wrote the other day about holiday anxiety and the fact that it may be related to my holidays not going so smoothly? Well…. Here is a recap of my Thanksgiving… lol.
Already tonight I have been up waaaaaayyyy too long. 5:35 am? Yep… too long. What was that article I read about the other day that said people who had irregular sleep schedules, cussed a lot, and had messy living spaces where more intelligent? Right…
SO… I have a lot of wonderful things going for me right now. I have a wonderful husband who also happens to be my best friend, I’m working on my first full length book, I’m starting a YouTube channel and blog, I have a wonderful Etsy shop and amazing customers, I’m working on opening this functioning eCommerce website, and I have wonderful friends and family.
So what is missing?
So… I finally got around to editing and posting this! I am going to try my very best to do at least one a month. All of the items made for these tutorials will be giveaways, or gifts for friends or family. Enjoy!
It has come to my attention that the settings on my website’s back-end were causing pending orders to cancel after 60 seconds. In most cases, this is too quick for PayPal to complete a transaction, thus orders were being automatically canceled before process was even able to finish.
The truth is… everyone that works at home has their own truth.
Being an independent artist is not something that you can just wake up one day and decide to do. I didn’t go to bed one night as a poor college student, and wake up the next morning as my own boss that can pay my bills. It is a journey… a road with no speed limit… or pavement.
Lately, I have had an overwhelming amount of requests for peacock beads and accessories. I have listened and now have some awesome designs in the works! Stay tuned, and check out my Etsy site for the latest!
Hello interwebs! I just want to stop by and make a quick post about my upcoming server upgrade.
Butterflies, Butterflies, and more butterflies! Did I mention butterflies?
For the last few months, I have come to the realization that I am now a monarch butterfly surrogate mother. A while back, Adam and family from Adam’s Art and Bonsai gave me a little butterfly plant that he obtained from Epcot. I took it home and began cultivating it and all of it’s cuttings and seeds. While I knew it would be great for several species from butterflies to humming birds, I never quite realized the positive impact these plants have on the local monarch population.
It never fails… when I have things to do, I always get the flu. Keith got it, then I got it from him. Forgive me folks if it takes me a little while to respond to messages… I really feel horrible. *goes back to bed.
So… last night a got a wild hair and made a motivational wallpaper using some cute fonts and my bracelet image. Doodly dipptidy doodly doodly deedle! 🙂 Enjoy.
So… for a long time now, I have been wanting to share my new Bohemian adjustable charm bracelets. I have also been trying to promote them(what can I say… it’s what I do), but unfortunately, I never have any links to share because they sell so quickly, I can never post listing links in time.
Soooo… As most of you know… I am a graphic designer. I have NEVER claimed to be a good web developer and would rather be head to toe in paint than sit and code. With that being said, I will be initiating some changes on my website within the next few days in an attempt to set up an eCommerce shop. I’m a complete noob, so hang in there with me.
I have made a tutorial for all you wonderful folks to watch. In it, I have made sure to discuss several ways in which you can measure your dreads successfully! 🙂
